An Irish Gambling License is Granted to LeoVegas

The mobile gaming company LeoVegas has been granted a gaming license for sports betting in the Irish market.

LeoVegas is already active in Ireland with its award-winning mobile casino, and the addition of sports betting allows the company to offer a broader and more attractive mobile gaming experience. The launch is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2017 and will be managed by LeoVegas’ current team and resources.

With this approval, LeoVegas now holds gaming licenses in Malta, the UK, Denmark, and Ireland.

The Irish online gaming market was valued at an estimated GBP 880 million in 2016, according to H2 Gaming Capital.
