TonyBet has joined the Dutch affiliate quality marker, Keurmerk Verantwoorde Affiliates (KVA). KVA is the Dutch branch of the Quality Mark Responsible Affiliates (QMRA), which collaborates with various operators both within and outside the Netherlands. Some of these operators include Tombola, Jacks.nl, Unibet, bet365, and LeoVegas, among others.
Operators may require the KVA quality mark before engaging with an affiliate and can choose to work with KVA’s legal team, which provides advice to compliance officers and affiliate managers. The KVA can also gather age demographic reports for companies, a mandatory requirement for operators in the Netherlands.
With KVA’s support, TonyBet is set to focus on compliance as it prepares to launch in the Netherlands, where it will also receive age demographic reports. TonyBet received its Dutch license in November 2022.
In regulatory news from the Netherlands, the KSA announced the release date for its amended Responsible Gaming Policy Rules, scheduled for June 3, 2024. However, certain articles, specifically Article 3.1.12 and Article 3.1.13, will be delayed until October.
Additionally, the KSA imposed a penalty against Casbit Group NV in April and issued a binding instruction to DigitalOcean, demanding the company cease engagements with illegal affiliate sites.
