Premier League 2023/24 Season Relegation Odds – December Update
The relegation battle in the Premier League this season is interesting, as all three promoted teams are struggling, while Everton lost 10 points due to breaking the financial rules. Who are the favorites to go down again to the Championship and who can survive at the end?
Everton Get a 10-point Deduction for Breaking Financial Rules
Everton got the first punishment this season for breaking the EPL rules, as the Toffees were docked 10 points, which puts them in the relegation zone after being in the middle of the table. Nottingham Forest were in the top five favorites to get relegated, but they are currently in 15th place and are decent enough to avoid relegation. Sheffield United became the first club to sack their manager this season, and they are the clear favorites to go down to the Championship.
English Premier League 2023-24 Relegation Odds
Here are the odds for which clubs will get relegated at the end of this Premier League season:
- Sheffield United @ 1.07 (7/100)
- Luton Town @ 1.25 (1/4)
- Burnley @ 1.60 (3/5)
- Everton @ 3.50 (5/2)
- Bournemouth @ 6.0 (5/1)
Sheffield United and Luton Town have been the big favorites to get relegated since the start of the season, as in the Premier League 2023/24 relegation odds. The Blades are having the worst start for an EPL club in history, while the Hatters are currently out of the relegation zone, but they have the second-worst offense in the league so far.
The third relegated club is expected to be between Burnley and Everton. The Clarets haven’t clicked yet in the Premier League, and they have been underwhelming so far, but they can turn it around. The Toffees wouldn’t be here if not for the 10-point deduction, so they should survive still, while Bournemouth are much better than all the previous four teams and will most likely finish in a safe position.
