After Man United lost 5-0 at the weekend, it appears that Solskjaer’s job could be on the line, with Zinedine Zidane tipped by the bookies as the top choice to take over.
The odds on Zidane have been slashed to 3/1 from 12/1, and it’s now believed that he’ll win the race to lead at Old Trafford since United lost to Liverpool at the weekend.

Zidane isn’t the only one in the running, however. Brendan Rodgers, manager of Leicester City, is tipped as 2nd favourite with odds of 5/1, closely followed at 6/1 by Antonio Conte.
Mauricio Pochettino, once the favourite in this market, has had his odds lengthened to 12/1. Still, a new entrant in the market – Cristiano Ronaldo, with odds of 16/1, the same odds offered by Erik Ten Hag. Laurent Blanc, Ralph Hassenhuttl and Luis Enrique are up next at 33/1 and 40/1 is Nuno Espirito Santo.
After losing at the weekend, the odds have shortened considerably on Solskjaer being the favourite as the next manager in the Premier League to be ousted from his post. At present, he is odds-on with all of the UK’s bookmakers to be the next to go, with some odds as low as just 1/5. It implies an 83% chance Solskjaer will be the Premier League’s next manager to be given the elbow.
