Rangers Next Head Coach Betting Odds

Next Rangers Manager Betting Odds After the Michael Beale Sacking

Rangers had a slow start to the 23/24 Scottish Premiership season, as they are already seven points below Celtic after only seven weeks, so they had to sack Michael Baele. Kevin Muscat is leading the candidates for the new Rangers manager.

Slow Season Start Cost Michael Baele a Place in Rangers

Something has to change after the team lost to Aberdeen at home, so Rangers have announced the departure of Baele after only 10 months of being in charge at Ibrox. Steven Davis will be the temporary coach for the Gers until they sign a new permanent manager, but he has a chance of getting a full-time contract if he does well. Kevin Muscat, Frank Lampard, and Graham Potter are three noticeable names to take on the new job for the Rangers.

Next Rangers Manager Odds

Here are the odds for which coach will replace Michael Baele as the next Rangers manager:

  • Kevin Muscat @ 3.75 (11/4)
  • Pascal Jansen @ 5.0 (4/1)
  • Frank Lampard @ 5.0 (4/1)
  • Philippe Clement @ 6.0 (5/1)
  • Graham Potter @ 11.0 (10/1)

Kevin Muscat is the current manager of Yokohama F. Marinos. The Australian coach did well as Ange Postecoglou’s successor at Melbourne Victory in the past, and he is a strong candidate to take on the job. Pascal Jansen is doing great with AZ Alkmaar right now and is second in the Dutch Eredivisie, so Rangers might be interested in him.

Rumors that Frank Lampard is interested in the job at the Ibrox moved him pretty high in the list of odds despite his doubtful managerial experience in the Premier League. However, he has the potential to become the new Steven Gerrard for Rangers. Graham Potter is another former Premier League coach, and he is still waiting for a good coaching opportunity since leaving Chelsea and can be ready for the job.
