Premier League Manager To Be Sacked Next Betting Odds – December 2023 Update
Paul Heckingbottom got sacked by Sheffield United on Tuesday, and they have signed Chris Wilder as a replacement. We are now in the congested December period in the Premier League, so who are the favorites to be sacked next in this season?
Paul Heckingbottom is the First EPL Manager to get Sacked; Who’s Next in Line?
After a 5-0 loss to Burnley, Paul Heckingbottom became the first EPL manager to be sacked this season. Mauricio Pochettino was one of the favorites to be sacked a couple of months ago, but Chelsea have improved a lot and had some great results. David Moyes and Marco Silva were also close to getting sacked, but they are in a good position now.
English Premier League’s Next Manager To Be Sacked Odds
Here are the 2023 December updated odds for which EPL coach will be sacked next:
- Steve Cooper @ 3.0 (1/3)
- Erik Ten Hag @ 3.0 (11/2)
- Vincent Kompany @ 8.0 (7/1)
- Roy Hodgson @ 9.0 (8/1)
- Andoni Iraola @ 15.0 (14/1)
The favorites to be sacked in the October list didn’t have Steve Cooper, but Nottingham Forest’s recent bad form has put him at the top of the favorites now. They have only won one of their last 10 EPL games. However, Erik Ten Hag has been one of the favorites for a while. There are a lot of rumors about him losing the dressing room, and with the potential knockout of the Champions League group stage, it will be possible that he will get sacked.
Burnley have lost 12 of their first 15 EPL games this season, which puts them in 19th place in the relegation zone. Vincent Kompany will have to do better than that to keep his job, but their upcoming fixtures are tough.
Roy Hodgson had a good start with Crystal Palace, but they have cooled down a little bit in recent weeks. Andoni Iraola, on the other hand, has improved a lot with Bournemouth and is now out of the relegation zone, so he should be fine for now.
