Next Chelsea Manager Odds: Potter, Pochettino, or Even Zidane – Who’ll Replace Thomas Tuchel?

Who'll Replace Tuchel in Chelsea: Potter, Pochettino, or Zidane?

Chelsea bosses decided to come up with a radical decision after the team lost in an away group clash to Dynamo Zagreb 0-1. Thomas Tuchel, who brought the Champions League title to the blue part of London in 2021, is now out after the unsuccessful opening duel of the new season and a tough start in the Premier League.

With a bunch of candidates to take Tuchel’s post in the team, the leading position now belongs to Graham Potter – recent coach of Brighton & Hove Albion. The Englishman did great work for the Seagulls, which took 13 points in 6 opening EPL games, beating Manchester United and West Ham in away games. The odds for his candidature are close to 1.8 (4/5), while sources inform that Brighton allowed him to negotiate with Chelsea.

Among the other candidates, the most attention belongs to Mauricio Pochettino and Zinadine Zidane. The latter is more than a year without a job, and his chances are estimated with odds of 8.0 (7/1). It more likely looks at the candidature of the Argentian coach (2.75 or 7/4), who left PSG this summer but aimed to return to the Premier League. According to rumors, Todd Boehly is a fan of Pochettino and will likely suggest a contract for a former Tottenham coach.
