NBA Championship 2023/24 Outright Winner Odds – March Update
The NBA Championship race this season has been an exciting one, as we are only three weeks away from the end of the regular season. The 2024 play-in tournament will be held from April 16–19, while the playoffs are set to start on April 20, and the NBA finals will start in June. The Denver Nuggets are the NBA defending champions this season.
Which NBA Teams Are Still Fighting for Playoff Spots?
The playoff race is heating up in the NBA 2023–24 season standings in the last three weeks. As things stand, the Phoenix Suns, the Sacramento Kings, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Golden State Warriors are in the Western Conference play-in spots. The Houston Rockets are close to the Warriors and Lakers, and they will try to replace one of them in the play-in tournament. The Miami Heat, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Chicago Bulls, and the Atlanta Hawks are in the Eastern Conference play-in positions. The Brooklyn Nets are 11th in the conference but are unlikely to replace any of those teams.
NBA 2023–24 Championship Outright Winner Odds
Here are the updated odds for the winner of the 23/24 NBA championship:
- Boston Celtics @ 3.30 (23/10)
- Denver Nuggets @ 4.33 (10/3)
- Los Angeles Clippers @ 7.50 (13/2)
- Milwaukee Bucks @ 8.50 (15/2)
- Oklahoma City Thunder @ 21.0 (20/1)
The Boston Celtics are still the favorites to win the championship, according to the best NBA bookies. The Celtics will almost certainly finish on top of the Eastern Conference regular-season standings, and they are on a seven-game winning streak right now. The Denver Nuggets have seen their odds shortened from 6.0 (5/1) to 4.33 (10/3) lately, as they have won 13 of their last 15 games. Their best player, Nikola Jokic, is the huge favorite to win the NBA MVP this season, and he will be looking to lead the team to back-to-back championships.
The Los Angeles Clippers and the Milwaukee Bucks have both seen their odds take a step back. The Clippers aren’t in their best form, losing four of their last six games. The Bucks are fourth for points scored per game in the NBA, but they have defensive problems, and they will have to overcome that to win the title.
The Oklahoma City Thunder are definitely the surprise of this season. They had odds of 71.0 (70/1) before the start of the season, but they are now on top of the Western Conference and will have decent chances of winning the title.
