NBA 2023/24 Season Winner Odds – February Update
The NBA is in the All-Star break right now, as we are a month and a half away from the end of the regular season. The playoffs are set to begin on April 20, with the finals taking place in early June. The Boston Celtics are the current favorites to win the 23/24 NBA championship.
Who Are the Most Disappointing NBA Teams So Far in the Season?
The two most disappointing teams in the NBA this season have to be the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors. The NBA 23-24 standings have the Warriors in 10th place in the Western Conference, while the Lakers aren’t too far, in 9th place. They came into the season as the fifth and sixth favorites to win the championship, but they are barely in the play-in positions. The Memphis Grizzlies are also struggling, as they are 13th in the Western Conference and very unlikely to qualify for the playoffs.
NBA 2023/24 Championship Outright Winner Odds
Here are the updated odds for the winner of the 2023/24 NBA championship:
- Boston Celtics @ 3.75 (11/4)
- Denver Nuggets @ 6.0 (5/1)
- Los Angeles Clippers @ 6.50 (11/2)
- Milwaukee Bucks @ 8.0 (7/1)
- Phoenix Suns @ 15.0 (14/1)
The Boston Celtics are dominating the Eastern Conference so far, and they are too close to clinching the conference as we predicted in our NBA 2023–24 season predictions. Jayson Tatum has been leading the team to a lot of wins, and they are expected to be one of the teams to beat in the playoffs. The Denver Nuggets are the defending champions this season. They took a step back from their great performance last year, but they are still one of the main contenders.
The Milwaukee Bucks have been inconsistent recently, losing seven of their last 10 games. They have one of the best rosters in the NBA, but they will have to improve a lot to win the championship. The Phoenix Suns had a slow start to the season, but they have been on fire in recent weeks. The trio of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal can definitely lead the Suns to a championship this season.
