German head coach Hansi Flick has been sacked after their shocking 4-1 loss to Japan. Bayern Munich’s Julian Nagelsmann is currently at the top of the list of favorites to take on the job.
Hansi Flick became the first-ever manager of the German national team to be sacked after getting thrashed by Japan. The DFB team was also poor in the 2022 World Cup under Flick, as they got knocked out of the group stage with only four points. Rudi Voller will be the temporary manager of the team until they sign a new boss, but he has a chance to receive a full-term contract.
