English Premier League 2022–23 Golden Glove Winner Odds

EPL Golden Glove Winner Odds After 6 Matchdays

A lot has changed after six rounds of the 2022–23 Premier League season. The competition is tight in the league right now, and the odds to win the Golden Glove are changing continuously. Ederson Moraes is currently at the top of the list of favorites to win the award, but who are his real contenders?

EPL Pre-season Golden Glove Betting Odds: What Has Changed?

Man City’s goalkeeper, Ederson Moraes, has been at the top of the favorites since day one of the season, as they have only conceded three goals in six games and kept three clean sheets. The odds for Alison Becker and Nick Pope haven’t changed much, while Andre Onana snuck into the top five favorites after he wasn’t there at the start of the season.

Robert Sanchez has seen his odds go down drastically after his arrival at Chelsea and being the starter after Kepa Arrizabalaga left. The Brighton goalkeepers, Bart Verbruggen and Jason Steele have played three EPL games each, and their odds went up with this rotation.

September 2023 Odds for Premier League Golden Glove Winner

Here are the odds for which goalkeeper will finish with the most clean sheets in the EPL and win the award:

  • Ederson Moraes (Man City) @ 1.61 (8/13)
  • Alison Becker (Liverpool) @ 5.50 (9/2)
  • Nick Pope (Newcastle) @ 10.0 (9/1)
  • David Raya (Arsenal) @ 17.0 (16/1)
  • Andre Onana (Man United) @ 21.0 (20/1)

Unsurprisingly, Ederson Moraes is at the top of the UK Golden Glove football bookies. Man City are solid enough defensively this season, and he has won the award three times already. Alison Becker will be an interesting option with such enticing odds, as he has won the EPL Golden Glove Award twice. Liverpool’s defense can improve this year after the solid midfield upgrade they’ve made in the summer.

Nick Pope and Newcastle were tied with Man City for the fewest goals conceded last season, and that’s despite not having the most clean sheets. David Raya has only started the last two EPL games for Arsenal, and with Mikel Arteta’s comments about rotating goalkeepers, David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale will probably split the clean sheets, and that’s why their odds are high.

Andre Onana has kept a clean sheet in his Premier League debut, in addition to another one in his last game. The Man United former goalkeeper, David de Gea, won the award last season, and Andre Onana will try to do the same for the team.
