AFCON 2023 Updated Outright Winner Odds
Here are the updated odds after the group stage for the winner of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament:
- Morocco @ 3.75 (11/4)
- Senegal @ 4.0 (3/1)
- Nigeria @ 7.50 (13/2)
- Ivory Coast @ 11.0 (10/1)
- Egypt @ 15.0 (14/1)
The best African bookies are still backing Morocco to win the title. They have a relatively easy matchup against South Africa in the next round, and they probably have the best squad in the tournament. Senegal was the best team in the group stage and the only one to finish with nine complete points. Their odds went down a lot after that impressive performance, and they will have good chances to win back-to-back titles.
Nigeria wasn’t anywhere near the top five favorites before the start of the tournament, but they performed well in the group stage and will have good winning chances if they overcome Cameroon. The Ivory Coast’s odds have gone up, as they didn’t impress in the group stage and barely qualified, while Egypt is still among the top favorites even with the injury of Mohamed Salah, as they have a good route to the semifinals at least.
