Just behind them is Heroic on 4.00 (3/1), before G2 Esports and FaZe Clan are neck and neck at 5.00 (4/1) and 5.50 (9/2). Cloud9 isn’t far off either at 6.50 (11/2), while Astralis represent the first significant drop in the odds, way back at 13.00 (12/1).

Both Complexity Gaming and Imperial are being given virtually no chance of winning in the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 odds, sitting at 51.00 (50/1) and 67.00 (66/1), respectively.

History of the BLAST Premier Spring Finals

This week will represent the third edition of the BLAST Premier Spring Final, with the event being played since 2021 on a regular basis. Occurring in the wake of several other spring events – the Spring Groups, Spring American Showdown, and Spring European Showdown – the Spring Final is among the most notable CS:GO events of the year.

Historically, Natus Vincere have been excellent performers on this stage. The team won the most recent edition of the BLAST Spring Final with s1mple as MVP, having come runner-up in the inaugural tournament in 2021 courtesy of Hobbit’s MVP performance and Cloud9 victory (Gambit in 2021). With no NAVI this year, who will step up to fill the gap?

BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 Tournament Info

The BLAST Premier Spring Final will be an offline tournament taking place in Washington D.C., over the course of five days. Eight teams will feature, all of which have qualified for the events through one of the other spring tournaments. Here’s a look at who’s competing and how they got here:

2023 BLAST Spring Final, Group A

Team Path to Spring Final 2023
Team Vitality Spring Groups
Imperial Esports Spring AME Showdown
G2 Esports Spring Groups
Cloud9 Spring EU Showdown

2023 BLAST Spring Final, Group B

Team Path to Spring Final 2023
Heroic Spring Groups
Complexity* Replaced NAVI
FaZe Clan Spring Groups
Astralis Spring Groups

In terms of tournament structure, the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 will begin with a Group Stage. This sees the eight teams split into two groups of four, where they’ll compete in a double-elimination format best of three matches. The top three teams advance, while the bottom-placed side is eliminated.

Those that finish top in their groups move straight to the semi-finals, while the next two will contest quarterfinals. Runner-ups will face third-placed teams from the other group, with the winner of these single-elimination games making the semi-finals. From here, it’s simple knockout CS:GO in the semi-finals and final.

BLAST Spring Final 2023 Predictions

We’ve weighed up all the best CS:GO live odds and determined the top 2023 BLAST Spring Final betting tips this week. Here are our expert BLAST 2023 Spring Final 2023 predictions:

Team Vitality to Win @ 3.25 (9/4)

Team Vitality have grabbed competitive CS:GO by the scruff of the neck over the past six weeks, storming to two big titles. With a win at the Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2023 backed up by a win at the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, Team Vitality have set themselves up as the team to beat at the BLAST Spring Final.

Quite frankly, we don’t think anyone will be able to, especially when ‘ZywOo’ feels hungry after missing IEM Dallas 2023. The team’s three biggest rivals in the betting odds – Heroic, G2 Esports, and FaZe Clan – have all looked out of sorts recently. None made the final in the most recent IEM Dallas 2023, with G2 Esports crashing out in the quarterfinals and the other two losing their semi-finals.

Despite FaZe winning several S-tier tournaments earlier in the year, Heroic making dual finals and G2 Esports winning the IEM Katowice 2023, this most recent form doesn’t bode well for any team having a chance of knocking over Team Vitality. They also should be a bit fresher after missing the last event and having more time for rest and preparations.

G2 Esports to Beat Cloud9 @ 1.61 (8/13)

Another team that performed poorly in Dallas was Cloud9, who finished 7th-8th. While G2 Esports have some issues to iron out, we say that their opening match against Cloud9 represents an excellent opportunity for the team to do this. It should be a hard-fought encounter but expect ‘HooXi’ to lead from the front and inspire G2 Esports to begin their BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 campaign with a win. If G2 loses this matchup – nothing to expect from this team anymore until the CS2 release.

Astralis to Win @ 13.00 (12/1)

Rewind the clock three years, and Astralis were the team to beat in CS:GO. Their all-Danish lineup was tearing through teams left, right, and center, with the big titles coming thick and fast in 2018, 2019, and 2020. However, since then, their form has dried up, and they haven’t threatened at big events.

As their odds indicate, Astralis are a long shot to win the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023. Despite this, a return of 13.00 (12/1) may not represent the worst bet for Astralis to be a dark horse here. As touched on above, the likes of FaZe, G2 Esports, and Heroic aren’t exactly in rock-solid form, and Team Vitality aren’t infallible either.

Recently, Astralis have shown some promising signs. Their star player, ‘device,’ has been in excellent form, leading them to victories over Team Liquid and Cloud9 at the IEM Dallas 2023. While they only finished fifth overall, both of their two losses came to eventual finalists, MOUZ and ENCE. Could this taste of victory be what’s needed to wake up the old Astralis?
