Women’s Rouen Tennis Tournament 2024 Winner Odds & Quarter-finals Preview
This is the 3rd edition of the WTA Rouen Open event, and it’s the first year to be counted on the WTA Tour as a 250 competition, not a 125 one. Viktorija Golubic won the WTA Rouen event last year, but she couldn’t participate to defend her title this year due to injury. The Capfinances Rouen Metropole competition is held in Rouen, France, and it will run from April 15–21.
The Most Exciting Quarter-final Matchups in the 2024 WTA Rouen Tournament
The 2024 Capfinances Rouen Metropole quarterfinals draw is promising a lot of excitement in the next rounds. The 16-year-old rising star, Mirra Andreeva, has been impressive in this tournament so far, and she will have a tough task to beat Anhelina Kalinina in the quarterfinals. The other top-half matchup will also be a competitive one between Arantxa Rus and Magda Linette. Sloane Stephens is a big favorite to qualify over Yue Yuan in the bottom half of the draw, while Caroline Garcia and Elena Gabriela Ruse will battle it out in the other matchup.
WTA Rouen Open 2024 Outright Winner Odds
Here are the updated odds for who will win the WTA 250 Open de Rouen this season:
- Mirra Andreeva @ 3.25 (9/4)
- Sloane Stephens @ 4.50 (7/2)
- Caroline Garcia @ 6.0 (5/1)
- Anhelina Kalinina @ 7.0 (6/1)Â
- Magda Linette @ 13.0 (12/1)
The best WTA Tour bookies have Mirra Andreeva as a slight favorite to win the title. Andreeva reached her career high ranking in February, and she is in good form. Sloane Stephens has the most experience among all of the eight quarterfinalists, as she is the only Grand Slam winner here. Caroline Garcia is playing at home in this event, and she will be motivated to play her best tennis and win.
Anhelina Kalinina can arguably beat most of the female tennis players in her day. The Ukrainian came into this tournament as the No. 3 seed, but she will have to overcome Andreeva first to have a chance of winning. Magda Linette won four of her five matches on clay this April, and she has some enticing odds here as an underdog.
