The Wuhan Open tennis tournament is finally back after four years of absence, as Aryna Sabalenka will defend her title after beating Alison Riske-Amritraj in the 2019 final. This is the last 1000 WTA event of the season, so it’s a very important one and has most of the top players participating in it.
There are 64 participants in the 2024 Wuhan Open draw, and the tournament is set to run from October 7–13. The Dongfeng Voyah Wuhan Open will be played at the Optics Valley International Tennis Center, as this is the second straight WTA 1000 event to be held in China.

This will be the 7th edition of the women’s Wuhan Open event, as the tournament made its debut in 2014 but got canceled in the last four years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There are 64 players in the tournament, and the top eight seeds will start from the round of 32. The event runs with the normal format of single-elimination matches until we get a winner in the end.
