These 16 teams are divided into four groups of four teams, each of which will compete in a double elimination (GSL) format. This will unfold from August 6-13, with all matches being best of three.

From the group stage, the top two teams of each group will advance to the playoffs stage. This will see a double elimination bracket play out from August 16-20 and 24-26, with all matches best of three as well. The exception will be the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, which will be the best of five matches.

Here’s the thing about LOUD – they’ve been erratic over the past two years. That may not be what you want to hear when you’re considering putting money on them, but hear us out.
Every now and then, LOUD bomb an event. They finished 11th-12th at the VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters – Copenhagen, and 7th-8th at the VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo. These results were, well, inexcusable for a team of LOUD’s caliber. Thankfully, LOUD always bounce back strong from their failures. With a recent poor result at the Masters Tokyo, betters can take some solace from the fact that it’s very unlikely LOUD will drop the ball in back-to-back events.
In fact, we think this makes them an even better bet to make a deep run at the VALORANT Champions 2023. Their poor performance has driven up their odds in an event where they’re defending champions and will be highly motivated to put in a big shift. Tuesday has one of the tightest opening clashes between two evenly matched teams in FUT Esports and T1. As a result, there are some great betting odds available on both sides, depending on who your pick is to win.
We say FUT Esports will win a tight one here. Both sides had equally disappointing campaigns at the Tokyo Masters, failing to make the cut for the playoffs stage.
