2023-24 UEFA Europa League Odds & Favorites
Here’s a look at the 2023 Europa League season odds and the favorites to win the title from the best football betting sites:
Liverpool @ 5.0 (4/1)
Liverpool finished outside of the top four in the EPL last season for the first time since 2016. Newcastle had their best performance in years to take fourth place from the Reds, who were struggling with some problems in the midfield and injuries. Liverpool went to the finals in their last time playing in the UEFA Europa League, but they lost to Sevilla in the end. They are the deserving favorites to win the title this season.
Brighton @ 13.0 (12/1)
Brighton finished in sixth place in the EPL last season to qualify for their first Europa League tournament in their history. The Seagulls have had a strong transfer window, and they will be looking to impress in their UEL debut as well. The Europa League draw wasn’t merciful for Brighton, but they are still the favorites to win their group. They had a strong start to the season in the Premier League and will compete in this one as well with this form.
Roma @ 17.0 (16/1)
Jose Mourinho’s Roma were frustrated to lose last season’s Europa League final, but they should be back better than ever. The Giallorossi aren’t having an ideal start to the Serie A season, as they have only one point from three matches. The new signings should make the team much better in the upcoming games, as they have added Lukaku, Aouar, Paredes, and Renato in this transfer window.
Villarreal @ 17.0 (16/1)
Villarreal are having a bad start to the season, losing three of their first four La Liga games. The Yellow Submarine have won their first and only Europa League title in 2021 after beating Man United. The team has sold Chukwueze, who was one of their best players, to AC Milan. Their chances to win the title aren’t that high, but they are in a relatively easy group, and anything can happen after that.
West Ham United @ 21.0 (20/1)
West Ham United have qualified for this year’s Europa League tournament after winning the Conference League last season. They are having one of their best-ever starts in the Premier League, as they have won three and drawn one of their first four games. The Hammers had a very strong transfer window and will have good chances of winning the UEL title.
UEFA Europa League 2023–24 Format & Overview
The UEFA Europa League consists of 32 teams split equally into eight groups. The top team from each group qualifies directly for the Round of 16. Each of the second-place teams plays a two-leg elimination match against one of the newcomers from the Champions League, which are the ones that finish third in the UCL group stage. Third places, however, will go to the knockout stage of the UEFA Conference League 2023-24, just like teams from UCL join the UEL playoffs.
This will be the final tournament with this format, as a new format will be introduced starting from the 2024–25 season for all the UEFA events.
History of the UEFA Cup & Europa League
The UEFA Europa League was first established in 1971 as the UEFA Cup, and Tottenham Hotspur won the first title. Sevilla won the most titles of any other club in the world (7), followed by Inter Milan, Liverpool, Juventus, and Atletico Madrid, all with 3 trophies. The last three finals of the tournament ended in a 1-1 draw and were decided by penalties.

UEL 23/24 Winner Predictions
Main Europa League Winner Prediction
Liverpool to Win @ 5.0 (4/1)
According to the 23/24 Europa League odds, Liverpool are by far the strongest favorites to win this year’s title. They have improved a lot this season with the signings of Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, and Endo. The Reds also signed 21-year-old midfielder Gravenberch, who has yet to make his debut for the team. Liverpool have beaten two tough teams, Newcastle and Aston Villa, to start the season and are in great form.
Liverpool is expected to play with their B team at the start of the Europa League, but they will play their best lineup in the advanced stages of the tournament. If the Reds finish outside of the top four in the EPL this season, they will have even more motivation to win the title and qualify for the Champions League next year.

2023 UEL Groups Stage Betting Predictions
Groups Stage Tip #1
Sparta Prague to Qualify for Playoffs @ 2.25 (5/4)
Sparta Prague are in group C with Real Betis, Rangers, and Aris Limassol. Prague is currently at the top of the Czech First League. They have a very strong attack that is averaging 2.7 goals per game in the league. The two qualifying spots are expected to be between Sparta, Betis, and Rangers in this group. The Scottish club is having a slow start to the season so far, and Sparta can easily take the qualifying spot over them.
Groups Stage Tip #2
Group B Winner – Brighton @ 2.25 (5/4)
Brighton are in group B with Marseille, Ajax, and AEK Athens. The English team will be playing in their first-ever Europa League tournament, so they will definitely play with their strongest lineup. The team has been in very good form since the start of the season, beating Newcastle, Wolverhampton, and Luton. Brighton are averaging 3 goals per game so far, which is the best by any team in the EPL, and if they solve their defense problems, they are deservingly the favorites to win the group.
