Celtic @ 1.75 (3/4)

As usual, Celtic are the favorite to win the Scottish Premiership. They have been very consistent in recent years, and they are only two League titles away from Rangers now. The Celts have 53 championships, and they have lost the title only once in the last 12 years, which makes them the obvious favorites to keep their dominance going. Kyogo Furuhashi scored an outstanding 27 goals for Celtic in the Scottish Premiership last season. So go choose instant withdrawal bookmakers and win.

Rangers @ 2.20 (6/5)

Rangers are one of the most successful Scottish teams in history, as they won the most championships (55). The Gers finished in second place in the league in four of the last five seasons and only won it once. They have the roster and team to beat Celtic, but it won’t be easy for them. English right-back and teams captain, James Tavernier, is their best player, with 16 goals and 9 assists for the team in last season’s Scottish Premiership. Betting on Rangers is the only alternative for Celtic as they are the main rivals in the title race.

Aberdeen @ 151.0 (150/1)

Aberdeen has been one of the most consistent teams in the Scottish Premiership lately. They finished in the top four in nine of the last 10 seasons. Aberdeen had won four championships before, lastly in the 1984–85 season. They have also won seven Scottish Cups and six League Cups. Aberdeen’s strength is in their attack, as Luis Lopez and Bojan Miovski scored 16 goals each in the Scottish Premiership last season.

Hearts @ 151.0 (150/1)

Hearts got promoted to the Scottish Premiership in the 2021–22 season, as they went down to the championship in 2021. They finished inside the top four positions in the last two seasons since their return, and they have been performing well. Heart of Midlothian won four Scottish championships, lastly in the 1959–60 season. Lawrence Shankland scored 24 goals for the team in the Scottish Premiership last season, and he is their best player. Their chances are as slim as Aberdeen’s to win the title.

Hibernian @ 251.0 (250/1)

Hibernian finished in fifth place in both the regular season and the championship group in 2023. They won’t have many chances of winning the league, but they can definitely improve and get into the top four. They have won the Scottish Premiership four times before, lastly in the 1951–52 season. Kevin Nisbet scored 12 goals to help the team achieve fifth place last season, but they would have to improve a lot to compete for the title.

Football Scotland Premiership 2023–24 Format & Overview

According to the bookmakers in Scotland, Celtic odds to win this year’s Scottish Premiership title are the most consistent, especially after the return of Brendan Rodgers. They have been dominating the league in recent years, winning 11 of the last 12 Cinch Premiership seasons. The Celts won the treble last season in the Scottish Premiership, Cup, and League Cup. Rangers and Celtics are the only two clubs worth picking to win outright, and that’s shown in the odds, and the Celts have been much more consistent.

Celtic has won 41 Scottish Cups, which is the most by any team, and they have also won five of the last seven editions of it. Jota, Mooy, and O’Riley were the top three players in assists made last season, and all of them are playing for Celtic. They also have Kyogo, who was the top scorer in the Scottish Premiership last season with 27 goals.

Motherwell finished inside the top six in two of the last four seasons. They were only one win away from finishing in sixth place last season as well. They have a good roster that can fight to get into the championship group. Kevin van Veen, the Dutch player, scored a stunning 25 goals in the Scottish Premiership last season, only two behind top scorer Kyogo Furuhashi from Celtic. Liam Kelly is also a good goalkeeper on the team. If they get a good start to the season, it will definitely be possible for them to finish in the top six positions.

Dundee just got promoted to the Scottish Premiership this season after getting relegated in 2022. The club has been consistently in the relegation group in the Cinch Premiership, as they were a whole six points below 11th place in their last relegation season. They are the favorites to finish in one of the last two positions, and they need to perform much better than they did last time in the league. Dundee FC has one of the weakest rosters in the Scottish Premiership, and it will be hard for them to keep their spot.

The Rangers are definitely the better team in this opening matchup. They have beaten Kilmarnock in six straight matches, and they are the favorites to keep the streak going. The Gers scored eight goals against them last season and conceded only three. Kilmarnock finished in 11th place in the 2022–23 Scottish Premiership regular season, and they were so close to getting relegated. It’s hard to see them causing much trouble for Rangers, who will be going for the title and trying to start with a smashing victory.
