Jon Rahm might not be lighting the leaderboard on fire this season, but he’s been remarkably consistent. He’s notched impressive top-ten finishes in Mayakoba (third), Las Vegas (eighth), and Jeddah (fifth) and hasn’t dipped below eighth place in any of his six LIV outings this year. While his Masters defense was a major letdown, Rahm’s consistency keeps him firmly in the championship chase.
That said, we are not super confident of a successful Jon Rahm title run in Singapore. Looking at the field, however, it’s difficult not to picture Rahmbo in the top five. Hatton came agonizingly close to his first LIV Golf trophy in Miami. He battled hard but ultimately settled for a tie for fourth, his highest finish of the season so far.
He kept the momentum going at the Masters, carding a sizzling three-under 69 in the final round to secure a tie for ninth. That impressive finish puts him alongside Smith and DeChambeau as the only LIV golfers to crack the top 10 at Augusta National. We expect Hatton to make another splash this weekend and make a top-five finish.
