Since its inception in 1988, the Supercoppa Italiana has been played at various venues worldwide. This year marks the fourth occasion the competition returns to Saudi Arabia. The tournament will occur at a single venue, and all three matches will be played at the KSU Stadium in Riyadh.

Current Serie A leaders Inter Milan return to the Supercoppa Italiana after emerging as the 2022-23 Coppa Italia winners. Internazionale clinched the Coppa Italia last season, going all the way against pretty solid opponents, winning against Parma, Atlanta, Juventus, and Fiorentina in the final.
The Milan-based outfit has picked up from where they left off last season. Inter have only suffered two defeats in 27 games this season and clinched 51 points after playing 20 games in the Serie A. After going unbeaten in the UEFA Champions League this season, Inter will face Atletico Madrid in round 16.
