This week, Bucharest hosts the second PGL Wallachia event of 2025, uniting highly talented Dota 2 teams for a competitive showdown. The PGL Wallachia Season 4 group stage unites all teams in a modified Swiss-system format, with every match played in a Best-of-3 (Bo3) structure. The first eight teams from this group stage qualify for the Playoffs. All other teams are then eliminated.
In the Playoffs, qualified teams compete in a double-elimination bracket. All matches up to the semi-finals will follow a Bo3 format. Similar to other seasons, this edition’s Grand Final adopts a Best-of-5 (Bo5) format.
Similar to past editions, PGL has a $1 million prize pool for this contest. Season 4 winners secure a $300,000 prize, while the runner-up earns $175,000.

With such a strong performance in the first PGL event earlier this year, the Falcons could repeat that performance.
ESL One Raleigh winners PARIVISION are third on this list despite their recent win. Given their strong performances in several tournaments this year, they should be higher on this list. They were semi-finalists at the FISSURE PLAYGROUND #1 and DreamLeague Season 25, a clear sign of their potential. With one title already in hand, PARIVISION will be keen to secure a second championship win.
Frankly, Tundra deserves a higher ranking, but they sit at fourth due to their struggle to secure decisive victories in critical moments. Their triumphs in FISSURE PLAYGROUND #1 and BLAST Slam II earlier this year highlighted their potential. Yet, later tournaments have brought setbacks. They advanced to the grand finals of DreamLeague Season 25 and PGL Wallachia Season 3, reaching the ESL One Raleigh semifinals.
