During the group stage of the tournament, sixteen teams will battle it out across two separate groups. Each group will contain eight teams and utilize a double-elimination GSL format. Opening group stage matches will commence as best of One (BO1). However, all subsequent matches will be played as best of three (BO3).
The top three teams from each group will progress to the playoffs. Group winners will move to the semifinals, while second-placed teams enter the quarterfinals as the higher seeds. Teams that finish in third place will enter the quarterfinals as the lower seeds.
All playoff matches, including the grand finals, will be played as BO3 and will follow the single-elimination bracket format.
