The first top-tier Counter-Strike tournament of the year is set to unfold in Copenhagen. The competition will feature 16 elite CS2 teams competing for a spot at the Spring Finals. Our CS2 BLAST 2024 Spring Groups predictions guide offers insights about the CS event.
Copenhagen will host this event for the second consecutive year. Competing teams will battle for a spot in the Spring Finals at the BLAST Studio. This year’s competition will feature 12 BLAST partner teams. It will also include four affiliate teams. Current BLAST Premier World Champions, Team Vitality, are in group A.

The BLAST Spring Groups 2024 tournament will consist of two phases: the Group Stage and the Play-In Stage. The sixteen participating teams are divided into four groups. Teams in a group will compete against each other in Bo3 matches in the double-elimination bracket. The top team from each group will secure a spot in the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024.
Second-placed teams will proceed to the Play-In Stage. The competition then shifts to a single elimination bracket at this point. All matches are Bo3, with the top teams advancing to the Spring Finals.
Despite the elite status and requirements for the participants, this preliminary stage has only a $190,000 prize pool for all participating teams. The top four teams in each group will receive a $20,000 cash prize and the opportunity to fight in the BLAST Spring Final 2024 for a $425k prize pool. In addition to the prize pool, teams will be keen to grab BLAST Premier points; amassing these points will be useful when seeding for future competitions.
This group features the current BLAST World Premier Champions Team Vitality. Other teams in this group include Astralis, OG, and Team Falcons.

Team Vitality are our favorites to clinch the top spot in this group. The current BLAST World Premier Champions are undefeated in their last 8 matches. Team Falcons should clinch the second spot and probably even fight for the top spot, considering the latest roster changes. We expect Astralis to finish third, while OG is likely to end up in the last place.

Heroic were in the top form with five wins in five January games but went 1-1 in the EU RMR Closer Qualifier B at the moment of writing this text, losing closely to MOUZ.
