The remaining contenders feature HEROIC, BetBoom, paiN, and Eternal Fire. On January 22, teams selected their opponents during a live broadcast, with BetBoom as the fifth seed, leading the Bounty Hunters in making their picks.

Teams entered BLAST Bounty based on their Valve Global Ranking System positions as of December 2nd, 2024, with their rankings determining their initial bounty values. The tournament began with 32 teams competing in a single-elimination format, where each matchup consisted of a best-of-three series.
Following each round, teams underwent reseeding based on their victories. Teams ranked 17-32 then selected their upcoming opponents from the higher-ranked teams (1-16). The tournament’s knockout phase now features eight remaining teams competing in single-elimination Bo3 matches, culminating in a Bo5 grand final.

We were surprised that G2 were not higher on this list, given their current HLTV ranking. With a roster featuring top talents like m0NESY, malbsMd, and HeavyGod alongside experienced Snax and HuNter-, this team has what it takes to win their first tournament of the year. Concerning their recent laurels, G2 are BLAST Premier World Final and BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 winners. NiKo’s move to Falcons slightly drops the potential of this squad, but G2 could string another exciting run and go all the way in Copenhagen.
Eternal Fire rounds out the list of the top five contenders for the playoffs in this tournament. The Turkish organisation currently ranks 13th in the world. However, they have secured a spot among the top five thanks to their outstanding performances in the single-elimination bracket. In their opening match, they triumphed over Fluxo with a score of 2:0, followed by another 2:0 victory against Team Falcons. With many strong teams in this competition, it’s challenging to envision how Eternal can navigate its way to the Grand Finals. Nonetheless, nothing is impossible, and if they can sustain their winning streak, they could clinch their first title since May 2024.
