Djokovic has won more titles here in Paris than most players have won titles, full stop. The Serbian is searching for his seventh crown here, but it’s not that which makes us believe he’s the best bet to win this event. It’s what else is at stake for the 24-time Grand Slam champion.

Win this week, and Djokovic sets himself up fantastically to finish year-end No. 1 for a seventh time. While the 36-year-old hasn’t been moving heaven and earth to ensure he achieves this, several uncharacteristic losses by Alcaraz have meant that he’s well and truly in the running for it. Given Djokovic’s penchant for breaking records, we’ll undoubtedly see a rested, focused version of the world No 1 arrive this week, who will take some stopping.

You’ve already heard why we say Djokovic will win this week. Alongside him in the first quarter are some other brilliant players, making a bet on the winner to come from this quarter excellent value.

Should Djokovic fall short, last year’s champion Holger Rune is also in the first quarter, as is recent Tokyo champion and US Open semi-finalist Ben Shelton, alongside the mercurial Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and home hope Arthur Fils. It’s a strong quarter, and for a shade less return than an outright bet on Djokovic, you gain a raft of other title contenders.

An exciting week of tennis awaits in Paris as the Rolex Paris Masters unfolds this week. Novak Djokovic is the heavy favorite to win his seventh title, and we say that’s exactly what will happen, with the Serbian too locked in on extending his year-end No. 1 advantage over Carlos Alcaraz.

Should he fall, however, a bet on the first quarter to produce the winner is still an excellent bet, with the likes of Rune, Shelton, Fils, and Davidovich Fokina all lurking at the top of the draw as well. Follow our BetZillion bets experts for more.
