The odds for the Baltimore Ravens to win the AFC Conference haven’t changed much, as they had a bye from the Wild Card Round and are yet to play. The Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs are still the second and third favorites, respectively, but their odds have dropped a little bit after the elimination of the Miami Dolphins and the Cleveland Browns. The Houston Texans were the 7th favorites to win the AFC Conference going into the Wild Card Round, but they have impressed in their win over the Cleveland Browns to go from the odds of 26.0 (25/1) to 15.0 (14/1). They are a young team with a rookie quarterback, and they have nothing to lose in the playoffs.

The Wild Card Round odds had the San Francisco 49ers as favorites, and they are still up there, especially with the elimination of the second and third-best NFC teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles. The Detroit Lions have seen their odds get halved after a one-point win over the Los Angeles Rams. The Green Bay Packers were the biggest underdogs going into the Wild Card Round, but after their stunning win over the Dallas Cowboys, they are back in the mix for the NFC Conference favorites. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had odds of 41.0 (40/1) last week, but they also had a big drop to 13.0 (12/1) after their win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

NFL 2023/24 Playoffs Overview

The Divisional playoffs have four matchups, two from the AFC and two from the NFC, as the winners of each division will compete for the Conference Championship. Then, the Super Bowl is played between the AFC Champions and the NFC Champions for the trophy.

There are five new teams in the Divisional Round this year compared to 2023, as the Kansas City Chiefs, the Buffalo Bills, and the San Francisco 49ers are the only teams to qualify for this stage in both years. The Houston Texans will be trying to win their first Divisional playoff game in history. The Detroit Lions and the Houston Texans are the only two teams remaining in the playoffs not to have a Super Bowl appearance.

The best bookies for American football have the Baltimore Ravens as big favorites here. That will be the first home playoff game for the Baltimore team in four years, so they are expected to do well. The Ravens had an extra week to rest and prepare for this matchup, while the Houston Texans dominated the Cleveland Browns in the Wild Card Round.

Nico Collins is the best and most reliable wide receiver for Houston. He has gone over this total of receiving yards in three consecutive games, averaging 123.6 yards per game in that period. The Texans play well as underdogs, and Collins usually does well in such tough matchups.

Bills vs Chiefs: Josh Allen to Score a Touchdown @ 2.0 (Evs)

This will be the third playoff game between the Bills and Chiefs in the last four years. The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills in the 2022 Divisional Round as well as the 2021 AFC Championship Game. The Bills are 8-2 straight up at home this season, so they will be slight favorites here.

Josh Allen is a big-game player, and he is in very good form right now. The Buffalo quarterback has scored at least one rushing touchdown in 13 of his 18 starts this season, as he has scored 16 touchdowns so far. He will be playing at home here, so he can definitely keep his good form and score as well.

The San Francisco 49ers are currently the favorites to win the 2024 Super Bowl, so they shouldn’t face many problems beating the Packers at home. The 49ers rely heavily on the run game, as they have the best running back in the NFL, Christian McCaffrey. He has gone over this total of rushing yards in five of his last six starts, averaging 105.6 yards per game in that period. The biggest weakness for the Packers is their running defense, so McCaffrey should have a field day over them.

Lions vs Buccaneers: Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Win @ 3.35 (47/20)

The Detroit Lions beat the Los Angeles Rams in a thrilling game by one point, which was their first playoff win in 33 years. This Tampa Bay team has much more experience than the Lions, as they still have a lot of their stars who won the 2021 Super Bowl with them. The Detroit Lions’ defense has struggled in the last few weeks, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in their best form of the season. The Buccaneers have won six of their last seven games, and they will have good winning chances in this matchup.
