Pep Guardiola Next Club Odds: Move to Juventus or Spanish National Team?

Guardiola Next Club Odds Move To Juventus Or Spanish National Team

Currently, the manager of Man City, Pep Guardiola, won’t extend his club contract beyond 2023. So what will his next move be?

International management looks set to be his next role, and of all the options he could take up, it looks as if Spain could be a possibility. Bookies are giving odds of 6/1 on Spain’s national team being Guardiola’s destination once he leaves Manchester City.

Could Spain Be on Guardiola’s Agenda?

Hot on the heels of the announcement about Harry Kane remaining at Tottenham, Man City fans also received the shock news that Pep Guardiola, the team’s current manager, wouldn’t be extending his contract with the team beyond 2023.

It appears that Guardiola has decided he could benefit from taking a break from club football management stress, suggesting that he could be interested in taking up a role in international management. Following this announcement, sportsbooks have been quick to offer odds on the various possibilities. It appears that Pep’s birth country, Spain, is a high contender with odds of 6/1 of being Guardiola’s next contract.

Barcelona is the market favorite at the moment, with odds of 2/1, and it isn’t hard to see why. Pep built up his football legacy with this team, having scooped an impressive 14 trophies for Barcelona, including no less than 3 league titles and 2 Champions League titles for them.

Juventus are close behind with odds of 9/1. Massimiliano Allegri was recently appointed as the team’s manager. However, if the chance to get Guardiola on board arrived, it’s possible they could be persuaded to snag Man City’s current boss.

Pep Guardiola Next Coaching Job Odds

Yet, Spain isn’t the only option that Guardiola could be considering. The bookies have priced several international jobs:

  • Spain – 6/1
  • Brazil – 12/1
  • Argentina – 25/1
  • England – 25/1

Sportsbooks have also suggested that Guardiola could follow Messi to PSG with odds of 10/1 on this possibility – the same odds that have been given for him heading over the pond to manage New York City FC.
